ARTISANAL KINTSUGI WORKSHOP

Give a Broken Piece a New Story

Some things are worth repairing, not replacing.

This November, Niko Neko Matcha welcomes Mizowaki Hiromu, a Kintsugi Hizensui’s artisan from Kyoto, Japan, to Kuala Lumpur for an exclusive hands-on workshop.

Together, we invite you to experience Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics and embracing the beauty of their imperfections.

For this special workshop, BendangStudiohas created an event-exclusive handmade matcha bowl for participants to restore under the guidance of Mizowaki Hiromu himself.

Learn directly from the artisan and discover the patience, care and craftsmanship behind this traditional practice.

You’ll leave with more than just a handmade bowl. You’ll take home a one-of-a-kind piece, repaired by your own hands, with a story that is uniquely yours.
